Sazandegi Groups
A variety of voluntary service activities in Iran are carried out by different groups of people, such as students, religious scholars, doctors, employees, ordinary citizens, and others. These groups, which mainly operate independently and without being linked to any government institutions or organizations, are called “Sazandegi Groups”. Currently, there are more than 20,000 active Sazandegi Groups in The Islamic Republic of Iran, helping their fellow people in various areas.
Cultural and Social
In addition to all the material services we provide to our audience, we must also focus on improving public culture and enhancing individual and social ethics. In this regard, we work with volunteers alongside people who have expertise in cultural and social activities to serve in this area.
Job Creation
One of the serious problems in disadvantaged areas is the lack of skills for having a job and income-generating abilities. This leads to higher unemployment in these areas, increasing poverty and deprivation. Our effort is to identify the economic potential of each area and introduce suitable jobs (such as local products, home-based businesses, workshops, factories, etc.) while also providing the necessary training and support to set them up. If this is successful, it will not only reduce poverty but also lead to economic development at the regional and even national level.
Education and Teaching
The development of educational justice is a global goal, seeking equal education for all people. It also aims to find talented individuals who may not have had the chance to discover their skills due to a lack of education. By helping them, we can improve the scientific level of communities and contribute to a more developed and better world. We believe that improving the education and academic status of all groups in society (especially children and teenagers) in all regions is beyond the capacity of governments. Therefore, it is necessary for charitable organizations to be active in this area. Along with other services, we give special attention to education and teaching.
Health and Medicine
One of the serious problems for people in poor areas is being far from health and medical services, which causes many difficulties for them. Besides educational programs about personal and family health, we also work with volunteer medical teams who want to help for free in poor areas. They help solve the health problems of people in their communities.
Crisis and Unexpected Events
In every part of the world, there is always a chance for a crisis or unexpected event to happen. Countries that are well-prepared to quickly get out of a crisis and solve the problems that come up will have less damage to people and property. The affected people are also more satisfied with the speed and quality of the help they get. Sazandegi Groups play a crucial and key role in Iran, along with government services and aid organizations.
Development and Construction
Based on their abilities, governments usually start and manage construction projects in different parts of the country. We believe that volunteer and charitable groups can complete these projects more accurately and quickly with the help of the people in areas needing these services. The goal of Sazandegi Groups is to identify disadvantaged areas, understand the needs of the local people, and consider other conditions. Based on this, they plan construction projects (such as building hospitals, schools, roads, water supply systems, etc.) and aim to finish them in the shortest time possible.
